New DAF XF Euro 6 truck

Exterior 


A new era , a new look :  when developing the new XF, DAF continued to build on its much admired cad concept, which is renowned for its spaciousness and practical comfort. A completely redesigned front - together with the new mud guard  fenders and side skirts, ensure a very modern appearance.
Maximum attention was given to aerodynamics and giving good air flow for cooling, resulting in better fuel economy. The new headlights with led lighting are never before in the industry 

























Interior 

A new level of driver comfort with 12.6 cubic meter of volume , the DAF XF super space cab driver has the biggest cab available to work and live in. 






















Engine


The new XF is powered by the new 12.9 liter PACCAR MX-13 engine. Thanks to ultra modern and thoroughly proven technologies such as common rail injection, a variable-geometry turbocharger, exhaust-gas re circulation and ingenious exhaust-gas after treatment, the stringent Euro 6 emission requirements are met. At the same time, the PACCAR MX-13 engine is synonymous with maximum efficiency, high performance and low operating costs with the Euro 6 emission legislation. and the fuel economy is at the Euro 5 ATe level. and have highest drivability with loads of torque
The PACCAR MX-13 is available with 410,460 and 510 BHP and torques of  2000, 2300 and 2500 Nm with in a range from  1000 and 1425 rpm.

The AS tronic automated transmission has unique features, including EcoRoll (truck rolling downwards with and idling engine). and FastShift (no clutch disengagement between 11th and 12th gear) to further enhance fuel efficiency 
























Chassis

the front end of the chassis allows for space for the extra wide engine cooling. The solid Front under run Protection beam also protects the radiator.The Rigid and stiff front end of the chassis provides accurate steering characteristics the new Stabilink rear axle suspension not only reduces kerb weight but also adds to the improved steering characteristics . the axles , axle suspension and steering are designed completer new to reduce kerb weight and improve performance
